Michael Jackson -- Another Death by Modern Medicine?

Already the #3 leading cause of death in the United States, the King of Pop may not have had the heart to survive being medicated by an FDA approved drug.

"Last night it was suspected his collapse could have been caused by an overdose of painkiller."

The Sun reports that Michael Jackson may have died after dosing on the potent narcotic Demerol.

According to Dr. Carolyn Dean's 2006 classic, nearly 784,000 Americans die every year due to modern medical drugs and techniques. This would be the same medical system that Obama wants to socialize and make mandatory for everyone.

If it turns out that Michael Jackson did succumb to legally sanctioned pharmaceutical drugs, will his death certificate read:

"This death has been approved by the FDA" ?

Inquiring minds want to know if Durbin, Stupak, Waxman and Dingell will call for more oversight and regulation of FDA sanctioned medications.

Or will they try to pin this on dietary supplements? Inquiring minds want to know.

According to Obama, a change in health care policy means never having the freedom to reject the pharmaceutical status quo. It seems that Barack no longer has a problem with the government using force to mandate that you buy disease management insurance. If you cannot afford it, then insurance will be provided to you either by 1) stealing from your neighbor; 2) printing money out of thin air or; 3) borrowing dollars from China.

Health? What about the health and sovereignty of the nation? Are we supposed to just give it up in order to support a pharmaceutical new world order? With Obama, instead of change, we got more of the same, just accelerated. How about allowing dietary supplement manufacturers to label their products truthfully, even when they can prevent, mitigate, treat and cure disease?

Oh the horror! Dingell, Durbin, Waxman and Stupak would never consent to the American people being allowed information to make their own health care choices. If Democrats and Republicans really cared about the people, they would dismantle the FDA and allow all forms of healing equal access to consumers on a level playing field. Will it ever happen? Not as long as freedom is considered too dangerous in the hands of the American people.

It is not just D.C. bureaucrats and elected officials who believe this anti-freedom nonsense. Until the American people themselves again behave as adults and trust liberty over nanny-state paternalism, leaders in both parties will happily persist in irresponsible parenting from ten miles square. Point one finger at them but three back at yourself.

Or, perhaps those who are lobbied in congress by the drug-makers. Of course, they are disqualified due to conflicts of interest and serious liver congestion. Now only if they were liable for approving deadly synthetic substances. Spiritually, they are.

Bisphosphonates: The New Jawbreakers for Adults

Headline: Osteoporosis Drug Prompts Increase in Certain Bone Cells "Use of bisphosphonates has been associated with other problems in the past, including an increased risk of atrial fibrillation (a type of abnormal heart rhythm), unusual fractures of the thigh bone and inflammatory eye disease."

I have been warning Sally Field about this but she must have the cotton balls from the numerous Boniva pill bottles she is peddling stuffed in her ears.

What pharmaceutical drugheads fail to realize is that in nature, everything has a purpose. Just because a drug can stop normal cellular bone breakdown from occurring does not mean that it is a good idea.

Rather that stopping needed cellular breakdown, scientists should study and try to understand why new bone cells are not being created appropriately in osteoporosis sufferers. Since there is no drug that can promote legitimate and healthy bone growth, don't look for such a study to appear anytime soon.
