And where are the Republicans pointing out that socialized medicine is blatantly unconstitutional? I would recommend a chiropractor but they have no spine.

According to Obama, a change in health care policy means never having the freedom to reject the pharmaceutical status quo. It seems that Barack no longer has a problem with the government using force to mandate that you buy disease management insurance. If you cannot afford it, then insurance will be provided to you either by 1) stealing from your neighbor; 2) printing money out of thin air or; 3) borrowing dollars from China.

Health? What about the health and sovereignty of the nation? Are we supposed to just give it up in order to support a pharmaceutical new world order? With Obama, instead of change, we got more of the same, just accelerated. How about allowing dietary supplement manufacturers to label their products truthfully, even when they can prevent, mitigate, treat and cure disease?

Oh the horror! Dingell, Durbin, Waxman and Stupak would never consent to the American people being allowed information to make their own health care choices. If Democrats and Republicans really cared about the people, they would dismantle the FDA and allow all forms of healing equal access to consumers on a level playing field. Will it ever happen? Not as long as freedom is considered too dangerous in the hands of the American people.

It is not just D.C. bureaucrats and elected officials who believe this anti-freedom nonsense. Until the American people themselves again behave as adults and trust liberty over nanny-state paternalism, leaders in both parties will happily persist in irresponsible parenting from ten miles square. Point one finger at them but three back at yourself.

Taxpayers waking up to find themselves and their offspring sold into slavery by Congress and the President

Headline: Taxpayers Strike Back With 'Tea Parties' "Police in Cincinnati say at least 4,000 people showed up Sunday for a grassroots protest of wasteful government spending in general, and President Obama's stimulus package and budget in particular."

What took them so long? It is not as if wasteful spending is a new thing, but Obama and the Democratic congress have turned it into an art form. Vile and ugly art, to be precise, but based upon this behavior, our young 'uns have every right to rise up and slap their elders silly. The Republican congressional "elders" - when they had total control - exhibited similar irresponsibility (Ron Paul excepted).

I am not advocating violence, and thus far, the demonstrations have been peaceful, but will they remain so as millions more wake to the theft of their future by irresponsible politicians? Not long ago there was a time when theft was actually against the law. Which of the Ten Commandments made an exception for government? Unlawful and excessive taxation is not the only theft occurring here. Inflation is also thievery, albeit a little more stealthy.

Is anyone blameless? Who has participated in sending these thieves back to congress over and over again? Why did the original Boston Tea Party happen? Taxation without representation is one thing that comes to mind.

How much were you represented when Congress passed the TARP bill and subsequent bailouts of international bankers? What about your 9 year old son or 3 year old daughter? Did they get a "say" in the mortgaging of their future?

The MSM does not know what to make of the outrage. Rather than digging for the truth about the Federal Reserve, they dig ditches for the government. I do not believe that the First Amendment was designed for a "mainstream" media to largely become apologists for the state.

The Constitution has been abandoned by those who swore an oath to uphold and defend it. How can anyone defend such indefensible behavior?

Drug Money for Democrats Buys Big Government, Not True Compassion

Headline: Dems still in the pharma-contribution lead "...here are the newest figures: $639,124 for Sen. Barack Obama and $574,828 for Sen. Hillary Clinton, compared with $168,300 for Sen. John McCain."

Are you still under the illusion that only Republicans love Big Pharma? The two sides of the same coin are at it again, this time going donkey tails.

It's just the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex hedging its bets, as it always does. No matter who loses, they win. Unless and until we are courageous enough to support CONSTITUTIONAL candidates for public office, whether they be local, state or federal, we will get more of the same. I suppose that if you do not mind large, invasive government regulating when and how you can wipe your nose and if you can have herbal remedies or not, you're pretty happy with the Obama/Clinton/McCain ticket.

Another option might be a vote of no confidence, or no vote at all. It is not your civic duty to vote for your own medical enslavement, is it?

How could a country with so much promise get it so horribly wrong? For one, it doesn't help that we get our "nutrition" from drugs instead of whole, organic food. Another aspect of our descent into tyranny is our misplaced trust in a bureaucratic oligarchy; particularly one that attempts to regulate our lives to the point where we not only lose our freedom, but our imagination as well.

The political pundits (and many of those who listen to them) think that Ron Paul is radical because he proposes that government return to only the activities for which it is specifically authorized by the Constitution.

"However would we get by without so much government?"

What? The above question is often asked of anyone who would like to see government reduced to its constitutionally limited role (hint: Ron Paul Republicans). The question itself indicates a critical deficiency disease.

"In this case what is lacking is the imagination to see that life goes on just fine without massive coercion and theft by the state."

In fact, if you are invested in freedom, it goes on much better. Those that do not share such liberty-loving ideals will ultimately be forced to change their views -- but not by force of regulation nor an angry mob. What then will change the hearts and minds of those lovers of Big Government?

Life. "Hard knocks" are inevitable as our overgrown bureaucracy collapses in on itself as it reaches the limit of its "unlimited" growth. Unreasonable taxation, borrowing from China and printing fiat dollars like there is no tomorrow are all serving to hasten the inevitable -- the demise of government of, by and for the corporation.

Those who want to dismantle the welfare/warfare/police state are often accused of being callous, cold, cruel and lacking in compassion for those "less fortunate" -- as if government is the only thing that can bring comfort and charity to those most in need. What is compassionate about the delusion that politicians working within an untenable bureaucracy can save anyone from anything?

True compassion is recognizing the problem and correcting it BEFORE it is a disaster. The blueprint laid out in The Revolution: A Manifesto is most compassionate because it allows for a transition for those who have become dependent upon the welfare state for their very survival. Obama, Clinton and McCain, through their feigned ignorance of the impending collapse are actually the ones who lack compassion.

Do career politicians really care what happens to the "neediest" among us when the welfare rug is pulled out from beneath them with no time for transition? Certainly you don't think that John McCain understands what causes catastrophic inflation. He's probably under the impression that oil producing nations are greedy, which may be reason enough for him to declare war on them with your money. Hillary will blame the oil companies and argue for universal gas coverage to go along with drugs for everyone. You can "yes we can" Barack all you want -- he can't put the "worth" back in worthless fiat money, even if it is pharmaceutical.

Only Ron Paul has a plan to head off disaster at the pass. Are we courageous and mature enough to take the road less traveled? Or what about Bob?

The Vegans are coming! The Vegans are coming! Watch out for those militant vegetarians, as you never know when one might pelt you with a veggie burger. Actually, it looks like the vegans are trying to deflect attention away from their "angry" reputation (have you ever actually met a vegan that threatened you with bodily harm?). It is interesting who they point to as the real potential danger: Ron Paul Republicans, of course. I have a another sincere question for you:

"What is threatening about Americans who believe in constitutionally-limited government?"

Nothing, unless you are a welfare/warfare statist. As a larger and larger percentage of Americans grow dependent upon the feds for jobs or welfare, or welfare jobs, the more dangerous those aligned with our founding documents "appear." Just don't call it terrorism.

Neo-conservative Republicans have become lovers of Big Government and welfare as extreme as the most "liberal" of Democrats. Will you fall for their trick of "criminalizing" those who love freedom the most? Will there be "free speech" zones surrounded by barbed-wire in Minneapolis at the time of the RNC?

What a picture for the world, much less Americans within our own borders, to see. The danger to our constitutional republic comes not from foreign terrorism -- but from those that would terrorize it by ignoring the one thing that restrains the growth of this obscene Democrat and Republican cancer. None are so blind that cannot see their own reflection in the mirror.

It's called the Constitution for these united States. Perhaps, with the jingoistic John McCain at the helm, they can get over the Constitution-al illusion and declare it to be a terrorist document because it values liberty over security, starting with our Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,..."

Do you remember way back when liberty was valued above all else? Despite what is insinuated, September 11, 2001 did not change natural law. A tragic event was used to convince the people that safety was more important than liberty. The irony is that 9/11 happened as a consequence of our misplaced faith that government would or could protect us from such events.

The fact is that it is a FAILURE of government, not of the people, except where the people fell asleep listening to a federal lullaby. Now we are to be convinced that only if we would have given more power to the federal government, all would have been well. Or for the future, we must accept DNA databasing and national ID cards or else planet earth is blasted from the sky. Their UN-constitutional world may end, but life will surely go on.

As long as we remain fearful, we are open to victimization from those that would sell us a false security for our priceless liberty. Shame on them that have sold their souls for a pittance of political power or the promise that they would be cared for cradle to grave.

How on earth can we honor our fallen war veterans by glorifying the power of the state? Did they really fight and lose their lives so that we Americans left behind would be spied upon by a behemoth federal bureaucracy in the name of safety? The message of Memorial Day should be one of thanks and reconnection to the real reason we may have to go to war. Our gratitude should be because of their defense of liberty, not the enablement of incremental federal enslavement of the masses under the guise of enhanced security.

Whether you be a vegan or a Ron Paul Republican -- both or undecided -- that anyone would think that we need government infiltration and free speech zones is a sad indication of our duplicity on the issue of freedom. A nation that loves liberty does not "need" to spy on its citizens. That it does is evidence of a paranoid bureaucracy knowing that it no longer operates under the law, but way outside of it.

A criminal looks at everyone else as a criminal, because it is all he knows. A government that looks at every citizen as a potential terrorist has already descended into that insecure state of UNconsciousness from which there is no return. If it is to be possible to turn back from the point of no return, we must persist in binding the politicians and bureaucrats down by the chains of the constitution. For that is the only way we can SECURE liberty to our posterity. A constitutional republic can only survive as long as the people force the government to obey the law.

If we do not, one day we may have to memorialize the freedom that was ultimately killed under the guise of the phony War on Terror. May that day never come...

The FDA's Fake Blood Monopoly or the Freedom Infusion of Ron Paul

Click Here. Headline: Study says FDA allowed risky tests of blood substitutes "Experimental blood substitutes raised the risk of heart attack and death, yet U.S. regulators allowed human testing to continue despite warning signs..." Why must blood substitutes be risky?

They are because they are the synthetic creations of arrogant men who believe that they are superior to the Creator. Oh, I know that they will not come right out and say it, but what else would you call synthetic blood and the "Dr. Frankenstein's" who synthesize it, if not an abomination?

"A safe replacement for blood would be a breakthrough for medicine and a big money-maker for companies that produce it."

The breakthrough is not for you and me, but for the pharmaceutical patent-holder. I would not begrudge someone a patent, except when that patent will be used in a government-mandated monopoly show of force. Just try to offer a safe alternative to Red Cross blood. Besides another abomination, I would call synthetic blood unnecessary, considering that nature provides many substances that can act as a temporary bridge until those in desperate need can restore their sanguineous supply to normal again. Naturally.

"In 2006, after a lawsuit by Public Citizen protesting a closed-door hearing, the FDA halted a test by the Navy, which planned to use a blood substitute on civilian trauma victims."

It's bad enough that our government is in bed with synthetic manufacturers -- but its willingness to experiment upon an uninformed populace is unconscionable. It brings to mind a question I often ponder: Why do Democrats trust government so much? You can be sure that the Navy would target Democratic voters for experimental I.V. administration at least as quickly as it would Republicans. Government has no guilt or remorse, only force.

What about Elizabeth Dole's favorite organization? Is the Red Cross running out of your blood? Or are people finally unwilling to donate for cookies and cream that which is then sold to patients (including the donors themselves) for big profits? Of course, synthetic blood, after patenting and receiving FDA approval, would be a virtual platinum mine. Imagine if you invented "Fake Blood" and it was granted monopoly status by the federal government. How much money could you make for you and your shareholders?

"Researchers found a 30 percent higher risk of death overall for patients who received transfusions using the blood substitutes..."

I suppose that the FDA could always argue that the upside is that "at least the risk did not go up by 100%". I am humble enough to admit that man can never duplicate the majesty and complexity, much less the simultaneous simplicity of biological reality. Our folly is that we attempt to better nature through mental constructs lacking the inspiration that the mind cannot fully comprehend. How are we doing on that pretend blood thing?

"The risk of heart attack was nearly tripled in the groups receiving blood substitutes."

Sounds promising. In addition to being an unnecessary abomination, the granting of monopoly status is UN-constitutional (even if it were for natural blood substitutes). But that never seems to stop the Medical Industrial Complex and its desire to take over what's left of the free world. Maybe the FDA could turn this over to Pinky and the Brain. Do you really think that a monopoly on blood would lead to innovation? Quite the opposite, it stifles innovation.

On the other hand, what would freedom and free markets bring us? For one, knowledge of the fact that an isotonic solution of unpolluted seawater is a safe and effective substitute for blood transfusions. Does anyone even remember the work of Quinton? How about the fact that during WWII, soldiers lives in the South Pacific were saved by infusions of pure coconut water? Does anybody consider the fact that chlorophyll may convert to hemoglobin in the human body? Have you tried a food grown supplement for building the blood lately?

Granted, awareness of these natural methods for saving lives would eat into the profits of The Red Cross and perhaps even challenge its reason for being. Although they could adapt to embrace these natural solutions for the genuine benefit of everyone. What is their mission statement?

"The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies."

Is there anything in the above declaration that says "...except in cases where doing so would diminish the profits from the blood trade monopoly"? So why is there not a massive investigation into safe, natural options being used worldwide that would eliminate the need for banking potentially contaminated blood, much less the elevated risk of death that accompanies the synthetic variety?

Once again, we come back to the question of LIBERTY. Do you believe that you have a right to know and act upon information even if it goes against the desires of the FDA and the industry which it protects (to your death)? In America, a doctor can lose his license and be imprisoned simply for utilizing what Creation has given us for healing, especially if it involves eliminating the need for blood transfusions. We don't need no stinking blood transfusion -- we need a freedom infusion.

Far be it from me to remind you that that which we really need will not come from electing establishment candidates like Barack, Hillary or John-boy. Those three should come with a special collective disclaimer:

"Voting for these candidates will in no way restore constitutionally limited government to this nation. Enter voting booth at your own risk, because FEMA is not going to save you."

Where is the Truth in Labeling Law when you need it? The lifeblood of this nation depends upon its people knowing where sustenance lies. It's a lie that government can sustain you. What gets in the way if you are dangerously low on blood and do not want foreign blood or pharmaceutical blood pumped into you?

I wonder if Hillary, Barack or John-boy know the answer to that question? They're not going to like it. The answer is government. Score another point for the one candidate who respects the right of medical freedom, even if the FDA never will.

In blood, the universal donor is "O." In freedom, the universal donor is Ron Paul. Care for an all natural infusion of individual liberty?
