Depression's End and Freedom or Drug-induced Immune Deficiency

Radio broadcast on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 1 PM to 3 PM EST: The world's most prescribed drugs are psychiatric. Where are all the smart people with medical licenses? If the allopathic medical community can be convinced that a class of medications no better than placebo is the answer for intense emotional states, what does that say about them?

When does it become embarrassing and problematic for institutions of higher learning? They award millions of degrees, yet so few of their graduates can see through the conflicts of interest and propaganda coming from the pharmaceutical industrial complex, much less the regulators that enable them.

The medical emperor wears no clothes and never has. Even over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), in many cases, are found to be no better than placebo, except that placebo will not result in liver failure.

I bring these points up again because the Democrats are still scheming ways to further institutionalize the 3rd leading cause of death as the only method by which Americans will be allowed to receive their health care. Fascism is not health care. Socialism is not health care. Corporatism is not health care.

Only if you are free to choose the healing method that you deem appropriate for your family's health can you then call it health care. The current system of government regulated disease management has already failed. Passing the Obama-inspired health reform would be like feeding carcinogens to a metastasizing tumor. It would be wise to tell Obama and the Democrats that they can stuff their pharmaceutical health insurance mandates back into the FDA approved pill bottle from which they come.

Or do you really think that being chained to a government bureaucrat is good for your health? I didn't think so. Unfortunately, even most Republicans are clueless when it comes to a real healing revolution.

Simply free up all the healers to heal and watch a renaissance of affordable health care return to the land of liberty. If you are afraid of freedom, there's always Prozac. Actually, buy a placebo - it works just as well and it comes with far fewer side effects.

Veteran's Day and the Medicated Military Revisited

This Veteran's Day is marred by the vicious attack on our troops by the army psychiatrist that goes by the name of Nidal Malik Hasan. Although the media is beginning to cover what appears to be "religiously" motivated violence, they may be overlooking the most common cause of mass shootings over the last decade as it relates to this story.

Dr. Antonette Zeiss, Deputy Chief of Mental Health Services for Veteran Affairs, while not wishing to talk about the specific case of the Fort Hood slayings, explained to TIME that: "Anyone who works with P.T.S.D. clients and hears their stories will be profoundly affected."

Hasan is a psychiatrist with unlimited access to the mind-altering drugs of Big PHARMA. From Columbine to Virginia Tech to the office shootings in Orlando last weekend (Jason Rodriguez), the common denominator is always anti-depressants, anti-psychotics and even synthetic sleep drugs. Where are the investigative journalists asking the first question about his prescription drug consumption? How could they not ask, given that nearly every other mass killing since the age of Prozac is related? Is knowing about the dangers of psychiatric meds considered to be a threat to national security?

Headline: America's Medicated Army "...according to an anonymous survey of U.S. troops taken last fall, about 12% of combat troops in Iraq and 17% of those in Afghanistan are taking prescription antidepressants or sleeping pills to help them cope."

Maybe we should think twice or three times before sending kids overseas to be soldiers for Economic Hit Men. "Medicated with an M16" is not my idea of a soldier with all of his faculties intact. What of nutrients for the troops?

I do not know of the nutritional content of meals ready-to-eat (MRE's) but I can bet that they're NOT loaded with raw, organic whole food nutrition. The STRESS of war depletes nutrients like nothing else on planet earth, perhaps other than pregnancy and childbirth. Did the Department of Defense ever think to look at nutritional treatments for PTSD, rather than investing in companies that have lobbied Congress to be included in budgetary authorizations? They need Chromium, not SSRI's.

"The Army estimates that authorized drug use splits roughly fifty-fifty between troops taking antidepressants - largely the class of drugs that includes Prozac and Zoloft - and those taking prescription sleeping pills like Ambien."

We know what the troops are on -- but how about those who have set the strategy for winning the phony War on Terror in Afghanastan? They must be smokin' the good stuff. Does Sen. McCain inhale on whatever they're smoking at the Pentagon? The article linked above should have been titled "America's Medicated Morons in the Military." And no, I'm not talking about the foot soldiers. The ruling elite HAVE to be on drugs to endorse the same policy that has failed empires since the beginning of recorded history. It is said that those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. It isn't so much the learning as it is the application of that which is learned.

"Arrogance guarantees that even if you learn real history, you'll be certain to convince yourself that it does not apply to you."

The only thing more effective than "arrogance" in making an intelligent person stupid is psychiatric drugs. Even if you are aware of history and how it applies to the present, SSRI's will guarantee that you are no longer solidly connected to that awareness.

Our political elite are sending our boys (and girls) overseas to become Soylent Green for Big Pharma. Perhaps the VA medical system could buy and read and apply what is written in Julia Ross' The Diet Cure and The Mood Cure, instead of writing prescriptions to unconsciousness with "vitamin" Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft and Ambien. At the very least we could get these guys and gals on Cod Liver Oil instead of removing them from life even further by medication.

You want to protect the troops? Send them a care package that includes essential fats.

While we are at it, let's alter the terrain of planet earth so that we do not feed the terrorists who may one day rise to attack us. Does anyone know if D.o.D. dentists still use mercury based fillings on the troops? It's too bloody likely, since they have no qualms about injecting them with mercury-preserved MF59-containing experimental vaccines before sending them out to get PTSD, which is now a de facto SSRI-deficiency disease. Do you need any more evidence that military intelligence is a pharmaceutical oxymoron?

Our troops do not suffer from drug deficiency diseases. Their disease stems from unconstitutional behavior among those in political power in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government. Too bad the doctor with the cure has been fringed and marginalized by political pundits and neoconservative worshippers of the state.

The Democrats are no better at protecting our armed forces from the psychiatric pills of Big PHARMA. If they are not killed by bullets in the war theater, once our troops return home, Walter Reed Hospital and VA doctors will lob plenty of pill bottle SSRI-grenades their way, insuring that the casualty count will rise.

I know it's sad, but it's also not evidence of a Zoloft deficiency. Restore the constitution.

Teen Suicides, Parent-approved FDA Drugs or a Mission in Life?

Headline: Spike in teenage suicides no fluke, study finds "Bridge said his study cannot answer the question about whether warnings about suicide risks linked with antidepressant use caused fewer troubled teens to get treatment." The hidden motivation for this news story is to link increased suicides in teens to reduced psychiatric drug use.

In the old days, a "Bar Mitzvah" was sufficient for a Rite of Passage from adolescence to adulthood. However, the modern religion known as the Church of Biological Mysticism now requires pharmaceutical drugs to reach the age of consent.

Why would parents consent to have their children experimented upon by the likes of Big Psychiatry? Well, mom and dad are also nutrient deficient and on drugs, unaware, and thus easy targets for pharmaceutical manipulation. Generations raised in government indoctrination centers (public schools) are still convinced that nutrition is only marginally related to behavioral disorders and depression. Instead of sanity, "we the people" have "drug deficiency diseases" embedded into our DNA along with Social Security numbers.

I am occasionally confronted by angry parents who say that they "have tried everything" and that "only the drugs" worked. Sadly, if suppression of the symptoms of nutritional deficiencies is what they consider "working" then there is nothing that I or anyone can say or write that will change their mind. Depression is not caused by a lack of Prozac, Paxil or Cymbalta.

If we do not understand the "true cause" of any given disease or intense emotional state (read: depression) and a doctor applies a drug to make the symptoms go away, I suppose it's reasonable for those with a primitive understanding of health integrity to conclude that a "cure" was achieved. But health is not the "absence" of disease symptoms.

Suppressing depression with a psychiatric drug is not the same as not being depressed. Our culture has lost sight of the value of Rites of Passage that would normally occur during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. This transition has been rendered meaningless because simply "growing older so you can have a job and buy stuff" really does not inspire a search for self identity and purpose.

However, the freedom to do relatively meaningless things in life can lead to boredom which may eventually lead to a period of self reflection. Depression may be an acknowledgment that a different path is necessary. It's just too bad that it happens so late in life for so many in the Western world. The fact that more teens are depressed may be a sign that they are catching on at an earlier age. But will parents?

In addition to nutrient deficiencies, depression is symptomatic of someone who has lost his way in life, or perhaps does not know how or where he fits into the universe. Is it your teen's purpose in life to be dependent upon psychiatric drugs just to get through the day? If not, perhaps you could give them some Sepia, GTF Chromium, essential fats and guide them to their true purpose for being here. I do not really believe that parents want their children to be slaves to FDA drugs, but guess who hooks them up.

Good Insurance is a Dangerous Thing or Why I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace Freedom

US Loses Too Many Lives over Lack of Health Insurance "...estimates that between 18,000 and 22,000 adults aged 25-64 die each year in the U.S. because they lack insurance." I would argue that good medical insurance is a dangerous thing because it insures that you will be sent for invasive and often unnecessary medical interventions, some of which may leave you worse than the problem with which you started.

The Families USA report, named “Dying for Coverage,” says people without health insurance are more likely to delay seeking care because of the high bills, which means disease such as cancer are diagnosed at a later, more deadly stage.

Yes, but that belies the fact that people with no medical intervention often live the same length of time or longer than those receiving the big three from oncology. Additionally, the quality of life in those receiving no treatment scores much higher than those brutalized by BIG PHARMA.

Allopathic medicine sells its services through fear. The insurance industry sells its products through fear. These are not necessarily noble professions beyond reproach. Fear itself is a primary cause of disease which feeds the very industry that profits off of the very problems it creates for trusting patients.

Yes, cancer can be scary, but there is something even more frightening. Allopathic cancer TREATMENT.

I am all for your freedom to choose which medical (or non-medical) route you wish to go should you be duly diagnosed, but why must a monopoly exist, when medical freedom is much superior? Do we like being slaves to government sanctioned treatment protocols?

I would posit that one of the greatest mistakes made by the Western world's population has been to turn over the care of their bodies to elitists in league with the one entity that can destroy life, liberty and property "legally." That would be government, just in case you were not paying attention. By the way, rapt biological attention is much less expensive than paying with your life. On average 784,000 Americans do pay with their lives every year because of their misplaced trust in Big Government and Big PHARMA.

Government and allopathic medicine do not mix unless you desire pharmaceutical slavery as a way of life. Don't cry to Hillary. Her ears are plugged with the cotton pulled from prescription pill bottles along with Obama's. Do I pick on the Democratic presidential candidates unfairly? Ask them why they are key sponsors of S.1375 - The MOTHERS ACT (S. 1375: Mom’s Opportunity to Access Health, Education, Research, and Support for Postpartum Depression Act), a bill that would corral all moms-to-be in an SSRI round-up rodeo.

If anything, I am being too kind.

Where is John McCain? He's been absent on the issue. I suspect he is already on many of the meds that would be forced on post-partum moms if the horrific S.1375 should ever become law.

First they came for your daughters with dangerous HPV shots. Then they came for moms-to-be and new moms with Prozac and Paxil and there were apparently no men left to defend them, for they were stationed all over planet earth chasing McCain's demons.

If we wait 100 years, will there be anybody left? We are not losing lives due to a lack of health insurance. Lives are lost when we look at every disease as a deficiency of FDA approved pharmaceutical drugs -- or a lack of insurance to be able to afford them. What we've really lost is our minds.

Maybe that's why Ms. Rodham-Clinton wants "free" Zoloft zones funded with your tax dollars. Let's start with her donors first, shall we?
