What about the hundreds of thousands of people dying every year due to government-sanctioned medicines and (so-called) health care? Their cries fall on deaf ears, or perhaps the blindness induced by Merck's Gardasil vaccine against the Human Pappiloma Virus (HPV).
Is anyone else tiring of these ignorant calls for government takeover of a system of medicine which is already granted monopoly protection by the very same government? Do they actually think that by making the monopoly even stronger that things would be better? Do they actually think at all?
Socialized medicine is just fine as long as you support theft in support of the medical monopoly. You want homeopathy? Herbs? Dietary mineral supplements? The things that would actually contribute to the improved health of the American people will not be included in any reform passed by congress. In fact, if the Senate has its way, things that would actually help the people would likely be made illegal, or at least available in such minute quantities as to be inconsequential.
But hey, if you're a Democrat, it's better to do something than nothing, right? Are they all on drugs?
Probably that, and drug money...
