Click Here. Prozac, used by 40m people, does not work say scientists "When all the data was pulled together, it appeared that patients had improved - but those on placebo improved just as much as those on the drugs." Except that the placebo had one distinct advantage, when you stopped taking it you did not become homicidal... School shootings are not caused by placebos. It's getting pretty ugly for the psychiatric drug companies, but not nearly as tragic as it is for the victims of their psychotic products. Drug company execs might lose some money as SSRI drug sales drop, but their "customers" have lost loved ones to their misplaced trust in the medical profession. The moment when we stop looking at every symptom and disorder as a drug deficiency is the moment we grow up into neuro-biological adulthood. Until then, we are like irresponsible children who want mommy and daddy to fix everything for us -- whether it's a doctor, the government, or some mutated combination of both. My argument is not for the abolition of drugs or the medical profession, although a case could be made. It is simply that we control whether those entities have power over us by the choices we make. If you want to be safe from the dangers of BIG PHARMA, do not look to government for protection. It is up to you to stop relying on FDA approved pharmaceuticals as a way of life. The Pfizer pickle we are in is due to our tolerance of federal and state encroachment over our health freedom. Who owns you? Who owns your body? Property rights are fundamental to a free society. It was once known that the government was a servant of the people. Now that's long forgotten as we act as if we are subjects of a king. Is it a privilege to care for your body and that of your family or is it a RIGHT? If you believe the former is true, then you are merely chattel for the state to do with you as they please. If you understand the latter, that you have a RIGHT to care for yourself the way YOU believe is best, then you know that BIG GOVERNMENT is an enemy of freedom and "universal" health care is code for a dangerous hoax perpetrated by socialists from within. I suppose that is what Prozac is for -- to take away the pain of losing your freedom...
