Homeschoolers' setback sends shock waves through state "A primary purpose of the educational system is to train school children in good citizenship, patriotism and loyalty to the state and the nation as a means of protecting the public welfare," the judge wrote, quoting from a 1961 case on a similar issue. What have I been saying on radio for years now? Your children are merely wards of the state and their repossession can be demanded if you do not do exactly what they say. How did they get jurisdiction OVER you and your offspring? Why do your children need to be "certified" by the state before they can be determined to exist? If you accept the benefit, then you must abide by the rules, I suppose. I realize that most people are not aware that they entered into contractual obligations for specific performance by accepting a birth certificate, anti-social in-security number, driver's license and other state "mandated" voluntary documents. In law, assumptions are VERY dangerous things. Yet, this is precisely what millions of Americans do EVERYDAY in accepting these unconscionable contracts as a way of life. Would you knowingly enter into an agreement whereby for the rest of your life you would be able to keep only some of the money you earn, while a significant portion gets pooled together in support of a welfare/warfare state? I can hear you now:

"But they said that they would give it back to me when I get old!"

Did they really? Did you actually read the contract? They are under no obligation pay you one penny back when you retire. For whom is that a good deal, Hillary? The state has made it very clear what it thinks of you and me. We are merely subjects that must bow to the whims of those who write, adjudicate and execute the regulations designed to keep us worshipful of the state. Collectivists have taken over and individual liberty is all but lost in a land that once cherished it above all else. If California does one day fall into the sea, it may be because of this blatant violation of natural law. Who owns your children? If they can force you to relinquish your parental "rights" and responsibilities by turning them over to the state, then how is it that they were ever yours to begin with? These are tough, painful questions. The founders of these united States put their lives and sacred honor on the line so that their posterity would be free. Are we willing to do the same for ours? Are you?
