CDC's Democratic Flu Shot Failure

CDC: Flu season worst in 3 years; vaccine didn't work well "Each year, health officials - making essentially an educated guess - formulate a vaccine against three viruses they think will be circulating." If anyone thought that I have been exaggerating about the technique to determine each year's flu shot, the mainstream media has once again proven me right, albeit 10 years later. Why can't dietary supplement manufacturers guess like that and get away with it? With each year that they goof, pharmaceutical companies are rewarded with more government contracts and the marketing support from the CDC. If these manufacturers and welfare scientists had to operate in the free market, they would have been fired immediately after the Swine Flu vaccine debacle of 1974. Actually, if they did not have the protection of government, they might have been imprisoned for assault with a deadly weapon. In addition to assault, we should charge them with fraud.

How is it that government can claim that EVERYONE needs a shot for which efficacy is not determined until after the flu season for which they inject you?

"They guess well most of the time, and the vaccine is often between 70 and 90 percent effective."

Are we supposed to be comforted by that made-up number? Attacks on dietary supplements and natural remedies are made largely because of conflicted claims that they may not be effective. Where are those same medical elitists when it comes to the lack of true scientific method involved in the annual influenza injection? Maybe we should ask them just how effective the mercury content is at producing deleterious intestinal and neurological events in children and old folks subjected to medical experimentation.

"Jernigan acknowledged that some people may lose faith in the flu vaccine and skip it next year. But he noted even this year, when the vaccine was not a good match, the vaccine still offered 44 percent protection overall."

Authorities claim less than 50% effectiveness this year and they are now worried that millions might skip the shot next year? I would say that would be a sane and rational decision for those willing to make it, even if it is a little late. When more people died of the Swine Flu vaccination than the Swine Flu in the 1970's, that should have been the death knell for annual injectable flu propaganda.

Not so with pharmaceutical fascism. Big PHARMA has the ability to buy government, so why wouldn't it? They did and they still do. It should be noted that only government could be used as a tool for something so stupid and potentially fatal. I repeat: a private business would have been bankrupted and its key personnel imprisoned for such a failure to produce safe and efficacious vaccines year after year. Five shots in a row and your risk of Alzheimer's shoots up exponentially? What about the CDC's annual claim of 36,000 dead to justify their promotion of worthless and dangerous vaccines?

"So far this year, 66 children died, including 46 who were not vaccinated. In 2003-2004, 153 children died."

You mean to tell me that even in a really bad year (2003-04), less that one-half of one percent of flu fatalities are children?!? The authorities just claimed that last flu season (2007-08) was "bad" resulting in 1/10 of 1% (.0012) of the total average influenza deaths among children. I have been pointing out that the CDC propaganda does not add up to reality, only a pharmaceutical phantasy. If we took the federal government at its word regarding flu danger, it would mean that approximately 99.9% percent of all flu-related deaths occurred in adult populations (including the elderly). Why inject children?

I call B.S. on the CDC and anyone who tries to defend them. Julie Gerberding can cry to Donna Shalala for all I care. It's about time to recognize just what federal agencies under the auspices of the Department of Health and Human Services really are -- tools for BIG PHARMA in control of BIG GOVERNMENT.

How many ways can you deal with influenza that are not approved by FDA? Let me count them. Actually, just do a search at rsbell.com for "flu" or "influenza" and you can count them. I've got more radio show prep to do.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, isn't it time you purchased The Revolution: A Manifesto by Dr. Ron Paul? I've got my copy and it rocks. How? When you diagnose the underlying problem, only then can you apply the appropriate remedy. Just as the flu is not evidence of a flu shot deficiency -- what ails us is not a lack of government.

Of course, you still have the other option to turn your body over to the CDC each year and hope for the best. Please forgive me if I do not join you in exercising that option...
