In the news: Obama hugs cancer patient, pitches care overhaul "Obama said the best way to drive down health care costs is to persuade doctors and hospitals to emphasize quality of care over the quantity of procedures." How can they provide quality care when state boards of medicine prohibit innovation by limiting doctors to any form of medical intervention as long as it involves invasive medical tests, toxic drugs and often needless surgery?

Constitutional cowards trapped and caved as they vote to approve Cap and Trade; Ron Paul Explains

When Republicans are out of power they talk a good game, but both artificial sides of this political Hegelian dialectic have brought America to the same place. Did you really think that Obama and the Democrats would restore constitutional governance to this land?


Is there time enough to salvage the first republic in recorded history founded upon the idea that the primary role of government should be to protect individual liberty?

As long as slavery is considered the new freedom, there is no guarantee that our posterity will enjoy the liberty envisioned by our founders. What will you do to defend their right to self-determination?

Independence Day is not for cowards. Fire congress. Especially those who voted for Cap and Trade. And the bailouts. And socialized medicine.

Based on their inability or unwillingness to read the very bills they vote on, you can count on one hand the number of current congressmen who would even have the courage to sign the Declaration of Independence.

Sometimes I wonder if they have even read it.

Healing Beyond FDA's Culture of Death and AIDS by Drugs

Radio broadcast on Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 1 PM to 3 PM EDT: Lost in all the debates about Obama's trillion dollar health care overhaul is the inconvenient truth that there is no constitutional authority for the federal government to nationalize over 15% of the GDP in one fell swoop. Nor is it constitutional that it be done incrementally either.

Of course, now that GM and Chrysler are owned by the feds, I suppose it's unreasonable to bring up the Constitution in any debate about our descent into fascistic socialism. Dare I mention the banks and the financial industry? Will it now be illegal to refer to the Declaration of Independence on the 4th of July because of the threat that that founding document poses to tyrannical government? Is your congressional representative co-sponsoring HR1207 to audit the Fed yet?

Did free market health care fail us? Not even close. Our constitutionally-deficient Congress has long since embraced corporatism as if it were true capitalism. "Monopoly" is much more than a Parker Bros board game -- it has become the essence of what is wrongly referred to as health care in America. While most people realize that two wrongs do not make a right, calling the Obama plan "universal" or "single-payer" does not make the monopoly medicine that it strengthens less wrong.

The only thing that can save health care (something that does not actually exist currently) is freedom. Your freedom to choose the healer and healing path that you believe is right for you and your family. It is not a proper role of constitutional government to drug and inject you while attacking natural methodologies and substances that might compete with federally-sanctioned medicine.

Excuse me, Mr. President, to which clause do you refer when waving the banner for socialized medicine? I have yet to find the one that authorizes the granting of monopoly status to a pharmaceutical industrial complex, least of all to one with no allegiance to any nation or state. Have you?

One definition of insanity is believing the lies coming from FDA that nature is a greater danger than the synthetic substances favored by the emperor-like bureaucratic oligarchy. Is it constitutional for Congress to abrogate rule-making authority on laws that are passed to an unelected bureaucracy, particularly those that restrict your freedom to heal without resorting to death-inducing drugs?

In the news: Safety of Garcinia Cambogia Validated in the Wake of the FDA’s Warning Letter "The controversy surrounded the safety of one of Hydroxycut’s ingredients, a plant called Garcinia cambogia, which contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA)" he was injected three times a day with Demerol Dilaudid, Vicodin, He had jus had a heart attack - was he also on blood thinners, statin drugs and blood pressure medication?

Michael Jackson's deadly cocktail of drugs "His other drugs included muscle relaxant Soma, a sedative called Xanax and anti-depressant Zoloft. He also took Paxil for anxiety and heartburn pill Prilosec."

Hour Two: AIDS by Drugs -- Since the 1984 Gallo-Heckler HHS press conference declared HTLV/HIV to be the "probable" cause of AIDS, antibodies became indicators of death, rather than evidence of successful immune activity. Since that time, any scientist questioning the official HIV-worshipping dogma has been shouted down with ad hominem attacks and marginalization by those dripping with pharmaceutical conflicts of interest, profiting from perpetual fear of a retrovirus never caught in the act of doing anything. Sounds eerily similar to the way scientists who dare question the global warming orthodoxy are treated.

Cap and trade this: Edmond McNack, while working as Sheriff's deputy, was bitten by a prisoner. Although the prisoner was later shown to be HIV-negative, McNack took AZT+3TC as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). He suffered significant health problems during the 10 weeks before he could not longer stand taking the drugs, and these health problems continued, resulting in lung sarcoidosis, prednisone treatment, damage to his hips caused by the prednisone resulting in a double hip replacement. Edmond McNack joins me to review this bizarre case and why the state is denying him compensation (hint: it's based on religious convictions of HIV worshippers).

"Rush Judgment Not Rash This Independence Day" Guest Editorial by Chris Barr

A signer of the Declaration of Independence from Benjamin Franklin's Pennsylvania delegation, Dr. Benjamin Rush was once personal physician to George Washington and the preeminent medical doctor of early America.

Dr. Rush also led the Pennsylvania delegation that ratified the United States Constitution. He put forth a very strong recommendation for inclusion to that founding document of this nation.

"Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship to restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others; the Constitution of the Republic should make a special privilege for medical freedoms as well as religious freedom."

This urging of Dr. Rush went unheeded.

I am red with embarrassment that this nation has arrived at just that place that Dr. Rush predicted. There was no rush to such an arrival as it only began to come about almost 100 years after the death of Rush. That place was solidified throughout the last century.

In this storied "land of the free" today's modern medicine is severely restricted to one primary method of drugs and surgery. Medical practices are limited by laws, courts, government agencies, insurance regulations, and in one case just a few years ago, by armed guards.

A Colorado couple gave birth to their first child and were informed that a screening test cited the mother as positive for Hepatitis B, and therefore the newborn would be vaccinated immediately. The new parents' joys were turned to horror. They said there must be a mistake and refused the vaccination.

Armed guards were brought in to ensure the vaccination was administered. Subsequent testing very shortly thereafter confirmed that the new mother did NOT in fact have Hepatitis B.

The young father had cited the Constitution in his arguments against the vaccination. Alas, the Rush provision never made it into the Constitution. The grieved father was ganged up on by modern medicine with its members aided by hospital officials, social services, courts, and an armed contingent.

I am white hot with anger that this nation squelches non-medical treatments as "unproven" while fighting against research that would bring proof in these areas, and fighting against any research that manages to be performed with favorable results that are outside of drug and surgical methods.

In this storied "home of the brave" those who are brave enough to buck against the system do so at varying degrees of peril to their own life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Royal Raymond Rife developed a cure for cancer in the 1930s that was verified 100% effective under the watchful eyes of the American Medical Association, the University of Southern California, and others. Professional medical men refused to give a written stipulation that no one would be refused treatment based upon financial condition, so Rife refused to sign over rights to his method.

Subsequent court battles were extensive and expensive. Rife was unable to match the exhaustive legal muster of modern medicine. His treatment was buried and cancer victims have followed needlessly to early burials as a result.

Meanwhile, Rife was driven from his pursuit of happiness to pursuit of hard liquor in his despondency. He subsequently became an alcoholic.

Two decades later Drs. Seidel and Winters of the prestigious Franklin Institute of Dr. Rush's own beloved state of Pennsylvania tried to revive some of Rife's work. They ignored the anonymous phone calls warning them to cease their research. They didn't ignore the bullets ringing through the rear window of their automobile and ceased their research.

Then there is Dr. John R. Christopher who was one of the last herbal doctors licensed to practice in America. He was arrested and jailed many times for practicing medicine without a conviction before his death of old age in the 1980s.

Countless other incidents like these few dot the historical landscape of the past century. The predominant practice of medicine has fended off competition to practically "restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others". It is just as the medical doctor Benjamin Rush warned more than 200 years ago.

I am blue with sadness for the needless suffering in this nation from the stranglehold modern medicine has placed over the health care system. It has effectively choked off competitive juices and the life flow of citizens in this nation.

Modern medicine twists and turns facts and figures to question and mock non-medical options. Fear of injury or death from these other options is the primary weapon employed. Yet few are the actual injuries and deaths from the non-medical methods. Meanwhile, conservative estimates note 100,000 deaths each and every year from modern medical errors. Other estimates more than double that number.

In the beginning of the last century antitrust laws smashed a string of bullying monopolies. It is time to smash the bully of modern medicine such that it see proverbial stars, and be beaten as though with stripes, forever ending its health care monopoly.

America's FDA Drug Addiction or the Declaration of Independence?

Headline: Legal Drugs Kill Far More Than Illegal "An analysis of autopsies in 2007 released this week by the Florida Medical Examiners Commission found that the rate of deaths caused by prescription drugs was three times the rate of deaths caused by all illicit drugs combined."

Americans die due to FDA approved drugs at TRIPLE the rate in which they succumb to the unapproved street variety! As I have been saying and writing for years, it should now be evident that war was declared on the wrong drugs. The neocons should love this.

How can you make peace with substances approved by government that kill over 200,000 Americans every year? Even the worst year of terrorism for America (2001) doesn't compare to an average year of deadly assault by FDA approved medications. Even the LOWEST estimates on iatrogenic deaths per month result in triple the number of deaths than that which occurred on 9/11. Now we find out that government-authorized drugs kill at triple the rate of those that government has declared war against.

If death is caused by terrorism, Congress authorizes a "use of force" resolution to enable the executive branch to "kill" the bad guys. However, if the death is approved by FDA (operating under the executive branch), the bureaucrats are apparently immune from consequence, even though their victims are just as dead. What makes Americans unworthy of protection from FDA? When did the FDA get "00" status?

While our out-of-control bureaucracy operates like a police state in preventing us from utilizing the natural substances of creation for healing or relieving cancer (much less for recreation), it endorses that which is downright deadly in the treatment of disease. It matters not if you are a Republican or Democrat, your government embraces and approves a culture of death.

The FDA's existence has become the "self-evident" evidence that we have adopted a Culture of Death. It is given legitimacy only because generations have been programmed to worship the state and its welfare scientists. A true "culture of life" would disband the FDA immediately and return to embracing the gifts of Creation for healing the body, mind and spirit. How can that which is FDA approved kill over 200,000 Americans every year and still be viewed as legitimate? Amazing.

I believe that our chronic nutritional deficiency has led to our debilitating constitutional deficiency. "Vitamin Ron Paul" will only be possible when we are once again nutritionally sound as a nation and culture, so that we recognize and embrace liberty when it stares us in the face.

How bad do you want liberty? Until it is as much as you want air while having your head held forcefully under water, it may not be enough. How bad do you want FDA-approved drugs? Vote McCain or Obama and you'll need plenty. But don't you worry, they'll probably throw them in for free along with your economic stimulus rebate check. Who will end this insane war on drugs and "declare" appropriately against the real enemy?

Actually, no declaration of war would be necessary if we just stopped relying on that which is approved by government. What kind of wimps have we become? Do you think that when Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence he had in mind to secure liberty for a people who would become addicted to government? Individual liberty does not come in a pill bottle. This 4th of July, why not say no to FDA and yes to freedom? Now there's something to celebrate.

1st Amendment Moles? The RNC Plans Free Speech Zones in Minneapolis

Headline: Moles Wanted "In preparation for the Republican National Convention, the FBI is soliciting informants to keep tabs on local protest groups..." So who does Homeland Security think poses the gravest threat to the Republican National Convention?

The Vegans are coming! The Vegans are coming! Watch out for those militant vegetarians, as you never know when one might pelt you with a veggie burger. Actually, it looks like the vegans are trying to deflect attention away from their "angry" reputation (have you ever actually met a vegan that threatened you with bodily harm?). It is interesting who they point to as the real potential danger: Ron Paul Republicans, of course. I have a another sincere question for you:

"What is threatening about Americans who believe in constitutionally-limited government?"

Nothing, unless you are a welfare/warfare statist. As a larger and larger percentage of Americans grow dependent upon the feds for jobs or welfare, or welfare jobs, the more dangerous those aligned with our founding documents "appear." Just don't call it terrorism.

Neo-conservative Republicans have become lovers of Big Government and welfare as extreme as the most "liberal" of Democrats. Will you fall for their trick of "criminalizing" those who love freedom the most? Will there be "free speech" zones surrounded by barbed-wire in Minneapolis at the time of the RNC?

What a picture for the world, much less Americans within our own borders, to see. The danger to our constitutional republic comes not from foreign terrorism -- but from those that would terrorize it by ignoring the one thing that restrains the growth of this obscene Democrat and Republican cancer. None are so blind that cannot see their own reflection in the mirror.

It's called the Constitution for these united States. Perhaps, with the jingoistic John McCain at the helm, they can get over the Constitution-al illusion and declare it to be a terrorist document because it values liberty over security, starting with our Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,..."

Do you remember way back when liberty was valued above all else? Despite what is insinuated, September 11, 2001 did not change natural law. A tragic event was used to convince the people that safety was more important than liberty. The irony is that 9/11 happened as a consequence of our misplaced faith that government would or could protect us from such events.

The fact is that it is a FAILURE of government, not of the people, except where the people fell asleep listening to a federal lullaby. Now we are to be convinced that only if we would have given more power to the federal government, all would have been well. Or for the future, we must accept DNA databasing and national ID cards or else planet earth is blasted from the sky. Their UN-constitutional world may end, but life will surely go on.

As long as we remain fearful, we are open to victimization from those that would sell us a false security for our priceless liberty. Shame on them that have sold their souls for a pittance of political power or the promise that they would be cared for cradle to grave.

How on earth can we honor our fallen war veterans by glorifying the power of the state? Did they really fight and lose their lives so that we Americans left behind would be spied upon by a behemoth federal bureaucracy in the name of safety? The message of Memorial Day should be one of thanks and reconnection to the real reason we may have to go to war. Our gratitude should be because of their defense of liberty, not the enablement of incremental federal enslavement of the masses under the guise of enhanced security.

Whether you be a vegan or a Ron Paul Republican -- both or undecided -- that anyone would think that we need government infiltration and free speech zones is a sad indication of our duplicity on the issue of freedom. A nation that loves liberty does not "need" to spy on its citizens. That it does is evidence of a paranoid bureaucracy knowing that it no longer operates under the law, but way outside of it.

A criminal looks at everyone else as a criminal, because it is all he knows. A government that looks at every citizen as a potential terrorist has already descended into that insecure state of UNconsciousness from which there is no return. If it is to be possible to turn back from the point of no return, we must persist in binding the politicians and bureaucrats down by the chains of the constitution. For that is the only way we can SECURE liberty to our posterity. A constitutional republic can only survive as long as the people force the government to obey the law.

If we do not, one day we may have to memorialize the freedom that was ultimately killed under the guise of the phony War on Terror. May that day never come...
